Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 2026-04-10
These Terms apply to quote requests, bookings, text or email approvals, deposits, invoices, and services provided by Junk2Go.
1) Scope of service
Junk2Go provides junk removal and cleanout services for unwanted items and loose, non-hazardous debris that are ready for pickup and safely accessible. Unless Junk2Go expressly agrees in writing, standard service does not include roof work, ladder work, scaffold work, elevated removals, attic extractions, demolition, dismantling attached structures, cutting, disconnecting utilities, unbolting or unfastening items, permit-required work, or trade work.
2) Photo review and non-standard jobs
Jobs involving height, roofs, garage tops, balconies, attached materials, fragile surfaces, heavy specialty items, or unusual access must be disclosed in advance and may require photo review and written approval. Failure to disclose these conditions may result in repricing, delay, or refusal of service upon arrival.
3) Quotes and pricing
Website pricing tools are guides only and are not confirmed quotes. Confirmed quotes are based on the information and photos provided. Pricing may depend on volume, weight, labour, access, disposal requirements, and job complexity. If actual site conditions or scope differ from what was disclosed, Junk2Go may revise the quote or decline the job before loading. Any written confirmed estimate included in a consumer agreement is subject to applicable law.
4) Minimum charges and travel
Minimum pickup starts at $149 plus HST unless otherwise stated in writing. No travel fee applies to pickups within Sarnia or London. Locations outside Sarnia or London may be subject to a disclosed travel fee. Disposal surcharges may apply for heavy, oversized, or specialty items.
5) Access and site readiness
The customer must ensure safe and reasonably clear access to the approved items and the removal path. Standard access means typical interior rooms, basements, garages, yards, driveways, walkways, and curbside areas. The customer must identify stairs, long carry distances, narrow passages, parking issues, snow or ice, pets, gate issues, low ceilings, attachments to structures, height or elevation, and any fragile or sensitive components nearby.
6) Customer responsibilities
The customer must clearly identify all items to be removed and remove or secure valuables, documents, cash, sentimental items, and breakables before service. The customer is responsible for disconnecting utilities or services and ensuring items are detached, emptied, drained, bagged, boxed, or otherwise ready for removal where required. Permits, approvals, and site permissions are the customer’s responsibility unless Junk2Go expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
7) Refusal or stoppage of service
Junk2Go may refuse, suspend, or stop service if the job is unsafe, inaccessible, materially different from the disclosed scope, unlawful, or outside our service scope, or if continuing would create an unreasonable risk of injury or property damage. If only part of the job is unsafe or out of scope, Junk2Go may complete the remainder if practical.
8) Prohibited items
Junk2Go does not accept hazardous chemicals, fuels, unknown liquids, paints, stains, pesticides, corrosives, asbestos-containing materials, medical waste, sharps, explosives, ammunition, or other items that cannot be transported or disposed of lawfully and safely, unless expressly approved in writing where legally permitted.
9) Attached, elevated, and fragile-location items
Unless specifically approved in writing, Junk2Go does not remove items from roofs, garage tops, balconies, awnings, elevated platforms, or other non-standard access areas. Junk2Go also does not remove decks, sheds, fences, platforms, pergolas, cabinets, fixtures, or similar materials that are still attached, anchored, fastened, or integrated into a building or structure. Jobs that may affect roofing, vents, flashing, skylights, antennas, solar equipment, wiring, siding, windows, railings, landscaping, or other fragile property may be declined.
10) Deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling
If a deposit is required, it reserves the appointment and is credited to the final invoice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours before the arrival window may be moved once or refunded, less non-refundable third-party processing fees if applicable. Same-day cancellations, no-shows, jobs that are not ready for pickup, or material undisclosed scope issues may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
11) Payment
Payment is due when the approved work is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For partial jobs, payment is due for the portion completed, any applicable minimum charge, approved disposal, and any disclosed specialty fees. Junk2Go will confirm pricing for the approved scope before loading whenever reasonably possible.
12) Property conditions and liability
The customer must disclose known hazards or conditions that may affect safe removal, including structural instability, rot, water damage, pests, mould, biohazards, sharp materials, exposed wiring, rooftop installations, and fragile roofing or exterior components. Junk2Go is not responsible for loss or damage arising from undisclosed hazards, hidden conditions, pre-existing damage, or items not clearly identified for removal. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13) Written approvals and communications
Non-standard scope approvals must be confirmed by Junk2Go in writing. By requesting a quote, booking online, paying a deposit, or approving service by text or email, the customer agrees to the disclosed scope, price, and these Terms. Junk2Go may send booking details, invoices, and service communications electronically.
14) Changes
Junk2Go may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on its website. The version in effect at the time of booking or written approval will govern that service request, subject to applicable law.
