Before placing an order for junk removal services with Junk2Go, you are required to read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions. By signing a quote, booking a service, or confirming approval via text message, you accept these terms as binding.
1) Deposits & payments
- All deposits and payments are non‑refundable, subject to the conditions listed on your quote.
2) Minimum service fee
- The minimum charge for any junk removal service is $149, regardless of quantity or size of items removed.
3) Travel fees
- Services provided outside of London, Ontario may incur additional travel fees based on distance travelled ($1/km).
4) Items excluded from liability
- Clients must remove or secure fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items (cash, sentimental items, jewelry, antiques, etc.) before service.
- Junk2Go is not responsible for damage or loss of such items during the junk removal process.
5) Hazardous materials
- Removal of hazardous materials (asbestos, biohazards, chemicals, medical waste, etc.) is prohibited unless agreed in writing.
6) Heavy item surcharge
- Items over 100 lbs may incur a heavy‑item surcharge based on weight and difficulty of removal.
- Examples may include appliances, safes, pianos, and hot tubs.
7) Furniture disassembly & moving fees
- Disassembling or moving furniture is not included in standard junk removal and starts at $149, depending on scope.
8) Same‑day cancellation
- Canceling on the same day as the scheduled appointment may result in a charge for the full amount of the original quote or invoice.
9) Tentative quotes
- Quotes are tentative and may be adjusted on arrival based on actual volume or job complexity.
10) Weekend service charges
- Weekend appointments may incur an additional weekend service charge (included in the final invoice).
Liability limitations
- Junk2Go is not responsible for damage to structures, landscaping, or property during removal unless gross negligence can be proven.
- Clients must ensure safe, unrestricted access. Additional charges may apply if obstacles or hazards delay service.
Items we do not remove (unless pre‑approved)
- Hazardous waste (chemicals, oils, batteries, etc.).
- Pest‑infested items (mattresses or furniture with bedbugs, etc.).
- Live plants, trees, or landscaping materials.
Additional charges
- Additional charges may apply if the volume of junk exceeds the estimate in the initial quote.
- If the property is not prepared (blocked access, unpermitted items), the client may be charged a rescheduling fee of $149, not including deposit and travel fees (if outside London).
- Dumping/disposal fees are included unless stated otherwise. Oversized items or specialty waste may incur additional disposal fees.
Client responsibilities
- The client must clearly identify all items to be removed. Ambiguity may result in items being left behind; return visits may incur an additional fee.
- Clients must notify Junk2Go of safety hazards (structural instability, sharp objects, biohazards, etc.) prior to arrival.
Payment terms
- Full payment is required once technicians arrive, prior to work commencing.
- Late payments are subject to a 5% monthly surcharge.
Changes
By signing the quote or approving service via an invoice link, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above. Junk2Go reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
